Christmas malls are selling their products at a lower cost price. They are bustling on a "YEAR END SALE" signs everywhere.
I should know that because I once have worked in a shopping mall and as for a savvy shopper they should know that some items are actually with a better deal if you shop after the holiday season.
MAYBELLINE WOODEN ROSE AngelFit Brighten Up Blush
I bought this for only PHp50. Is that a big savings I get? Yes indeed! Because its original price is PHp270.
And as far as I know about MAYBELLINE ANGELFIT Product it is exclusively distributed here in Asia and one of Maybelline's best products as well.
So let us go with my review.
I am not fond of using blush-on with a brush, I already got my explanation from my other post that brush irritate my skin. I am more comfortable employing a liquid blush-on that you can easily drift into your face and off you go.
And some of the colors in a compact looks scary when you used it because they are so highly pigmented.
But I was wrong with this one. The LUMINOUS CHEEK BLUSH THAT NATURALLY BRIGHTENS UP AND SCULPTS YOUR FACE...is way different from the other compact blushes I've come across.
COLOR AND PACKAGING
Comes in a clear transparent pink plastic case with a tiny cheek brush inside the package. Small that you can easily bring wherever you go as long you need to look great!
The color is a mix of pink and peach. Pretty and natural that adds nice pinkish sheer and glow to your face as what you can read at the back of the product. It looks natural.
Though it is quite pigmented if you apply it many times on your cheeks. Just apply it once or twice, do not exceed you will look like a clown.
POWDER
The texture of the powder is actually excellent. Be careful if you happen to drop the blush as the powder tends to break and crack easily.
BRUSH
Pretty love the brush it is soft and handy. As I used it, it never irritates me or give me skin rashes.
Wooden Rose in a suggested retail price is expensive, but this is a top-notched product that most makeup artists and celebrities love MAYBELLINE blushes.
I don't regret buying it, though I get big savings from it. And yet if it will go back to its original price I will still buy it back.

Corporate MakeUp is hard to do for every working woman out there. Anyone ought to have no makeup at all going to work and have that simple look for the whole day. But keep in mind that when you're working you need to be well prepared and well presented.
If you want to look professional not seductive you can follow this tutorial especially suited for everyone.
Look simple. Less Makeup.
FACE
Apply face primer as your base, followed by a foundation and concealer.
Here I use the foundation technique I've learned from Shiseido.

And in applying the concealer use the PAT and BLEND technique. Repeat it until you get the natural blend for your skin.
REMEMBER:
- If you use LIQUID CONCEALER this is best for dry skin. Using the gentle PAT AND BLEND TECHNIQUE with your ring finger.
- If you use STICK or PENCIL CONCEALER this are easy to transport and use for a quick touch up. Still use the PAT AND BLEND with your ring finger.
- CREAMY LIQUID CONCEALER is way great because it is suitable for all skin types, but I suggest better use wand or brush in applying following the basic foundation application.
BROWS
For the first time I use my BYS Brow and Eye Pencil in Blonde.
Frankly, I don't like it because of its soft and waxy texture that is actually looks like an ashy brown. Though I like the shape, the flat and slanted tip, and the style of an automatic pen liner.
I don't like the color maybe because it doesn't fit my skin tone. I prefer brown or blonde-brown. Anyway this is beneficial for those who have an unruly eyebrows because it can help flatten and shape your brows.
Because this pencil doesn't settle well you can apply BROW GEL.
Reminder: Use BROW GEL if you have an oily and sweaty brows just like me.
But just in case you don't have BROW GEL you can set it by coordinating powder.
EYES
I like my BYS Smudge proof Waterproof Eyeliner in Black.
It's pretty much immovable as you use it. There are many ways on how to apply eyeliner but because our topic here is about Corporate Look we will stick with that look for now.
The BYS liquid eyeliner helps me draw the perfect line of my eye using the unique tip of the liner. It really had a quick dry formula and no smudge at all.
Reminder: When applying liquid eyeliner, don't open your eye until the liner has had time to dry or you may smudge it.
But if you are on a rush don't dare use liquid eyeliner, use a pencil with a light touch.
Next is applying MASCARA.
Reminder: If you have LASH PRIMER use it first before applying mascara on your lashes.
For me it is a waste to apply mascara without a primer.
But in my case now, I use BYS Volume and Lengthening Mascara. No need to put lash primer because it has already coating materials that can give you thicker and longer lashes.
Better to have a double purpose eyebrow/liner pencil.
When you are in the office tendency is you have to re-apply your makeup as much as possible.
CHEEK
Press and set the powder in, don't swipe if you use a brush.
In my case, I prefer to use sponge because I have sensitive skin. Brush sometimes irritates my face and gives me some red spots.

Rushing on putting make up can lead you to a big mistakes. And sometimes end like your drawing your face just like a wonky toinky line and having to start again.
So be careful in applying simple corporate makeup, you can look fabulous, but it's often not that easy to master all of these things here.
So try these tips and make your own techniques! After some practice you will see your improvement.

Fourth day, May 19. The Evolution of my Eyelashes.
Need to have a photo shot at the upper lid of my eye to see the corner side of my lashes if it is really growing. And YES, it is!
So happy with the result I get from this product, amazingly great and work so well.
I am a natural type of a girl, and I love products that uses natural ingredients/chemicals that will not harm your skin and eyes.
Getting a lot of compliments from other people and see the difference I am so happy to recommend this product, FYSIKO EYELASH GROWTH SERUM.
I will be doing an update post about this product with photos for comparison to see how it works day by day, weeks by weeks.

In modelling or in any photo shoot the highest priority we always see is the placement of the EYE. Where the nose goes- the eyes follow. Regardless where you're facing the pupil of your eyes had a great impact in delivering your photo to your audience.
To have that vivacious look, you only not to learn the basic and fundamentals like style and designs but learn more about the techniques and right applications(and at the same time have the right materials and the tools).
The Makeup Specialists conduct a once in a lifetime workshop experience for us Davao Bloggers who like to know about eye makeup, where each one of us took a step forward to learn and know more about our EYES. This Eye Makeup Workshop is sponsored by the BYS COSMETICS PHILIPPINES.
Asian eyes are different compared with Western and Caucasian, so we need to follow our own style in getting the perfect arch of our eyebrow. The right measurement for ASIAN to get a PERFECT ARCH of an EYEBROW is by doing this:
To find out where your eyebrows are supposed to begin is to position a stick(I used my spoolie in these pictures).
To BEGIN: from the nose, align it to the thinner corner of your eye. Most Asian women choose to put the spoolie below just following the old way of getting the arch but remember some Asian lack of a nose bridge, better align it just in the middle side corner of our nose.
For the ARCH: position still starting the middle side corner of your nose until the side corner of your pupil.
At the END: place the stick once again by your middle side corner of your nose and align it to the outer corner of your eye.
Things I learn here is: do not over shade your eyebrow, do not square off the begin brow, do not over extend the end, always us spoolie to measure the arch, and lastly no sharp angles.
Today we have to say goodbye with the "KILAY 2000" eyebrow or the over plucked eyebrow. Thicker eyebrows are so much better!
What type of eyes do you have?
Before I got serious with my topic about eye makeup, knowing first the type of eyes you have so that you will know what Eyeshadow and Basic Color Application appropriate and suitable for you.
In my case I have both, the Almond and Hooded Eyes.
EYE SHAPES. Determining our natural eye shape is so important as finding the right color application for your lids.
BASIC COLOR APPLICATION. You must follow the EYE DIAGRAM: BASE/MIDTONE, HIGHLIGHT and CONTOUR depending on what eye shape you have, in my case I have to use the technique of a NO MAKE UP LOOK.
PRIME the lids first, using BYS FACE PRIMER.
BASE Color to mark a perimeter. Here I use BYS EYE SHADOW MOUSSE.
EYELINER APPLICATION
In the case of an EYE LINER APPLICATION need to put eyeliner to enhance my eyes, using BYS SMUDGEPROOF WATERPROOF BLACK EYELINER it will be sufficient to intensify my eyes and for my lower lash line I got the BYS NEON BLUE EYELINER PENCIL and blend it with their BYS BLUE BAKED EYESHADOW POWDER.
Talking about the LASHES, since I use a SERUM for eyelashes, I decided not to put false eyelashes on my eye and stick with my natural one. I just use BYS BLACK MASCARA to have that volume and curve.
Like I said before I belong to an ALMOND and HOODED EYES, meaning my fold is not so high. That my hood(fold) is near my ORBITAL RIM.
This application is good for those who have almond and hooded eyes, those who have perfect monolids and thinner double lids just like me.

Ready to get creative? I'm not sure if you're familiar with this kind of makeup procedure but this is usually use by MUA(Makeup Artist) who are into a Fantasy Makeup Fashion.
Bold to vibrant colors of makeup and by using STENCILING TECHNIQUES.
AVANT GARDE makeup is like playing and exploring the fun fantasy world of fashion.
How crazy and insanely bold having those kind of look. And don't forget to add some faux lashes for a truly captivating eye.
How cool are some of these makeup looks styled by different MUA.
When doing an AVANT GARDE makeup you have to get an inspiration. Open your imagination to get the design and concept you want to portray. Get ideas from any other sources like nature, movies, books, magazines or just your emotions for that period.
There are THREE STYLES of AVANT GARDE MAKEUP:
DRAMATIC - when you say dramatic all you need is to apply dark to smoky shadow over the eye lid.
COOL AND PLAYFUL - here you can choose any bright color eye shadow shades.
