Water Tint
Honestly, I'm a fond of a water tint. But for this, the packaging doesn't suit my personality, because I'm that kind of a person who is careless in terms of my belongings - it opens accidentally inside my pouch and it was so messy! I suggest to put it in much safer and tight container. 😊
On the lighter side, the lipstick is great! Especially if you put it on your cheek, looking fresh and very natural.
WATER TINT is PHp150 only. It comes in different shades:
Velvet Matte Lipstick
I was excited to try this lipstick. But first, let's define what is a VELVET MATTE. It's a matte lipstick with a sophisticated finish. Very different with the sheer and glossy lippies. What I also loved with the velvet matte, it is good at hiding pigmented and patchy lips.
It is also good as an eyeshadow, it gives you that glow. And your eyes look alive & lifted. Fresh makeup indeed! Very light if you used it daylight and for a glam kind of night mix & match it with another velvet matte to look more sophisticated.
Velvet Matte Lipstick is also PHp150 SRP. It has 7 shades (but I only have 6 shades during the product launching).
Long-lasting Matte Lipstick
If you want your eyes to have that edgy look, use the Burgundy Wine combine it with Peach Perfect as your eyeshadow, to give that dramatic smoky eye — this is something I haven't done before, but because of this lippy, first time to experiment it and it was great! Actually, these lipsticks as an eyeshadow is not heavy. There are 3-in-1 lipstick in the market that when you used it in your eyes as an eyeshadow it gives you sleepy eyes because its heavy — very uncomfortable.

When Kris Aquino officially launched her make up line with Ever Bilena, my initial reaction is WHAT!? Why local makeup brand, compare to some of her actress friends collaborate with international makeup company. I don't have negative thoughts regarding local makeup products, but its Kris Aquino she's the "KWEEN".
Anyway, if you are a follower of Kris Aquino (like me) you will see how much she adores makeup aside from shoes and bags.
I am happy to know that she's going to make her own makeup line and I love the fact that she partnered with Ever Bilena (as I have said I'm not against local makeup products). I'm glad she choose #ProudlyFilipinoMade.
Kris proudly showed her first two products that are part of the "KRIS LIFE KIT".
The first one is matte lipsticks that comes in five shades. However, only two shades have been released "LOVE" - Red and "LIFE" - Pink.
The other three shades are coming within the year: "LAUGH", "LUCKY" and "LOYAL".
Product Review of LIFE Matte Matic Lipstick
I love matte lipstick but the problem is it easily dries your lips.
In years past, we may have skipped our matte lipsticks in favor of the shinier and glossier, more balm to use, but thanks to new formulations made possible by Kris Aquino and Ever Bilena, comfortable matte exist and they are here to stay forever!
What I like about LIFE shade is, it is simple and it is an all-occasion lipstick that finishes off with matte yet moisturizing and it has a balmy texture.
I bought LIFE at Robinsons Department Store for PHp245.
This balm's creamy formula of Kris "LIFE" Matte Matic Lipstick deposits just the right amount of matte, pinkish color -- and never accentuates dry patches on our lips. It looks almost natural on fair skin tone.
This new formula combines comfort with innovation, and not to mention the vivid, seriously saturated pigments it gives to your lips.
The posh packaging is a plus for me too! Local brands are really leveling up.
Even without using a lip liner it still looks good and it last for about 4 hours. It only wore off when I ate greasy food (understandable since I've never has a lipstick that is high-end) that withstood greasy food.
I'm so happy I found my perfect pink!
Will try LOVE definitely!
